What is the Estimated Time Frame to Begin ABA Services?Once we receive the above documentation from the doctor's office and/or insurance provider, we can begin the intake process. Central Coast ABA will provide the caregiver with a set of Central Coast ABA intake forms. Once the forms are completed and Central Coast ABA verifies insurance coverage for ABA services, the assessment can be scheduled. An assessment is scheduled within 10 days after receiving the assessment authorization from the insurance. The assessment takes two to four weeks to complete and submit to the insurance. Insurance companies require approximately two weeks to approve services. Upon service authorization, Central Coast ABA will contact the caregiver to finalize scheduling and start date for ABA services to begin.
